Together, Efrat and Kiefer have created MKH as a space for parents to not only survive the challenges of raising children but thrive. They are committed to guiding parents through every stage of family life, helping them feel fulfilled and confident in their parenting role.
Their unique blend of skills, warmth, and expertise makes MKH a place where parents and children grow together, where struggles become teachable moments, and where joy and connection are at the heart of every family.

Our Story

MKH was born from the vision and commitment of its founders, a dedicated family of four, who have made it their mission to transform the parenting journey.
Led by Efrat’s passion for building stronger family relationships and Kiefer’s technological expertise, MKH offers an accessible, innovative, and deeply supportive experience for parents everywhere.

Efrat’s Journey to MKH

Fifteen years ago, Efrat held a successful career as a director in the insurance industry. Even in this role, she stayed deeply committed to her lifelong dream of supporting people’s mental and emotional well-being. She fostered this passion by nurturing her employees and creating positive work environments, but the idea of helping families always stayed with her. She also spent time as a teacher, working with children and their parents, which gave her unique insight into the complex dynamics families face. During this time, she realized it was time to turn her dream into reality.

Efrat began her journey in parenting support by studying Adlerian Theory and becoming certified as a parenting consultant. Over the past decade, she has dedicated herself to helping families build healthy, supportive relationships at home. Her work focuses on the connections between parents and children, couples, and even grandparents, ensuring every bond contributes to a balanced, joyful family life.
Efrat’s philosophy is clear: parenting isn’t about perfection, it’s about being present, connecting with your children, and embracing the ups and downs of family life. Her mission at MKH is to make kids happier by teaching parents how to find happiness in their parenting journey, equipping them with practical techniques that nurture confidence and resilience.

The Roots of MKH

An interesting part of MKH’s story is the name itself, which came from the founder’s older son. When he was just five years old, he asked his mom, “What do you do for a living?” Efrat explained her work in simple terms, sharing how she helps families build happier, healthier lives. After listening intently, he smiled and said, “Mommy, you make kids happier!” His words were so genuine and insightful that the name “Makes Kids Happier” was born.

Today, their daughter is equally inspired by her parents’ work. She loves listening to the classes that Efrat and Kiefer create, eagerly absorbing examples and stories her mom shares. Already declaring her future as a “great parent,” she’s learning about herself and her environment, proudly proclaiming she will be the best parent ever.
