Parenting in the Age of Technology
How to deal with Kids' Screens Time

In today’s blog, I want to address a reality that many of us parents find ourselves grappling with – the intricate relationship between our children and technology.

Remember our first tryst with technology? The landline phones, televisions, video recorders, and DVD players? These were our screen companions. The interesting thing to note here is that our interaction with technology was mostly communal – family gatherings around the television, siblings fighting for the remote, and the privilege of having a TV in your own room.

Fast forward to today, our children are born into a world where technology is not just an aspect of their lives but a pervasive presence. The screen has moved from the family living room into their individual hands. Observing our children deftly navigating these devices, we often find ourselves morphing from intrigued observers to ‘worried parents’.

The mind is filled with questions – What impact will the screen have on my child’s development? What kind of content are they being exposed to?

Let’s explore some strategies on how we can navigate this new-age parenting challenge.

Let’s start with what we should DO and what we SHOULD NOT DO

"... She is there all the time, and she helps me a lot to understand my children, it may be absurd, but I was not taught that being a mother is the hardest job I will ever have to do in my life. It is indeed a process Long but how fun it is to have her, you can always cry to her, laugh with her and tell her everything. I highly recommend Efrat, she can be a wave of delegation for you as well!... " Review @ Google!
